For years, a downtown Bellevue summer had a simple center of gravity: the fountain at Bellevue Square, the lawn at Downtown Park, and a short walk back to the car. That map is still useful. It is also incomplete for 2026.
Two things happened this spring that quietly redrew the resident's version of the season. One arrived in April on the south edge of Downtown Park. The other is landing mid-summer a mile east in Wilburton, and it is the more consequential of the two. Read together, they turn what used to be a single-destination park visit into a loop.
